Vacancy: Bookkeeper/Administrator

Location: London

Package: £25k-£30k

We are an innovative financial services business with an inspirational leadership team and fantastic growth plans. We are currently seeking a Bookkeeper/Administrator to join the business and help deliver growth and service an ever increasing client portfolio.

We are keen to find a candidate who can work in a changing environment and contribute to refining and improving processes. You will be detail oriented and able to be flexible when required in order to accommodate a fast paced and growing business.

The role will involve:

- Book keeping for the group of companies including data input and payment processing as required using Quickbooks

- Manage the payroll process to ensure accurate and timely execution

- Have a good knowledge of VAT returns and process them effectively

- Adhere to proper accounting standards

- Meet deadlines and time budgets

- Reconciliation of company expenditure and company internal reporting

- Prepare reports on Client/Product/Supplier/Partner level

- Ongoing financial reporting and KPI tracking for business, sales teams and management

- Complete new client On-boarding Checks (basic Due Diligence)

- On-boarding new Introducers and staff, ensuring they are familiar with company policies

- Maintain Client, Supplier and Introducer records and manage correspondence

 - Work as part of the team on improving products, propositions, processes and culture within the company

- Maintain a full and accurate audit trail by filing and referencing documents in a timely manner 

Your Key skills:

• Knowledge of accounting/bookkeeping practices and processes

  • At least 2 years experience in the UK
  • Relevant education and qualifications
  • Knowledge of Quickbooks
  • The ability to prepare management accounts for companies and other entities and handle more complex accounting matters 
  • The ability to understand documents and data and write clear letters and emails 
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written 
  • Organized and methodical 
  • Client focused 
  • Ability to work under own initiative 
  • Desire & ability to manage multiple projects running concurrently
  • Ability to innovate and operate as a General Manager for a thriving start-up business
  • Energy to drive change and deliver excellence
  • Excellent numerical skills & great communication skills
  • Flexible when needed in order to get the job done and achieve the required results
